Utah registration is required, or the ability to obtain within six months of employment Experience in the performance of tasks associated with traffic engineering and transportation planning projects, serving in a professional role advising clients and staff, consulting and review of work as an expert in the field of traffic engineering. Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Writing sample required. Will conduct safety studies, plan reviews, standard specs, roadway maintenance recommendations and grant applications. Experience with traffic forecasting, traffic safety analysis, pedestrian safety studies and field surveys. Will manage research projects involving design of study, supervision of data collection, statistical and economic analysis and evaluation of data and written report of findings.
